Postage Stamps

For many many years there have been stamp collectors, the hobby has found its way into literature on many occassions, and even the odd song lyric. Stamps fall into two categories, unused and used.

Categories

Unused Old Stamps – No doubt there are some collectors who might be interested in such items, at least if particularly old. But where does one find them?

Used Stamps - Many people doubtless remember as a child collecting used postage stamps, either for their own collections, or more often than not for Blue Peter appeals. Occasionally that programme has still collected used postage stamps, however nowadays it can take many years for used postage stamps to come up as the subject of a Blue Peter Appeal, and one doesn’t always want to wait that long. There are however various charities, such as OXFAM who also collect used postage stamps.
