Plants
Keen gardeners often seem to need to get rid of excess plants : Too many cuttings, or perhaps a small tree that is outgrowing it’s place. Freecycle seems to be a popular place for people getting rid of plants that are still in satisfactory condition. Give And Take Days are also possibilities, as are stalls at fairs.

Pot Plants – Charity stalls at fairs (particularly local school fairs), Give And Take days, Freegle, and Freecycle are all possibilities.
Plants Needing to be dug up (including: larger plants, small tress etc) – a community organisation such as Freegle or Freecycle is one of the few options, the plant may or may not survive, but there are Freeglers and Freecylers out there interested in trying.
