Nappies

Re-usable Nappies that your child has finished with, or spare (or even partially opened) packets of disposables. What to do with them?

Although reusable nappies can be expensive to purchase, it can be difficult to sell them on. for example the notable auction website Ebay does not permit nappies to be sold on it, because this contravenes its rules on the sale of undergarments. However, there are organisations such as The Women’s Environmental Network, which do provide a forum where such items can be sold on to other parents. While some community organisations, such as Freegle and Freecyle, also often allow people to pass on Nappies for reuse (although you may need to check with the moderator of your local Freegle or Freecycle group that it is permitted on your specific local group)
