Lamp Shades

It is possible that if in very good condition a charity shop may accept a lampshade, but it would be advisable to check with the shop first. If the shade is of some particularly rare antique or collectable then some kind of auction may be a possibility. For most ordinary lamp shades community organisation such as Freegle, or a Give And Take Day is probably the best place to dispose of them.

Collectable Shade – Antique or otherwise collectable lamp shades may have some value in an auction

Ordinary lampshades – for ordinary run of the mill lampshades, a community organisation such as Freegle or a Give And Take Day is probably the best bet. If the shade is in poor condition it is possible an innovative person may be able to make use of it for an art project.
