Bathroom Mats

Just what do you do with Nylon-backed mats for putting on the bathroom floor. They are very useful items as they are washable. The answer, as usual depends on condition. But, unless they are in very very poor condition, then community organisations such as Freegle are distinct possibilities.

Like-New – If they are in a like-new condition, a charity shop may be a possibility, otherwise try giving them away on Freegle or Freecyle

Useable/Good Condition – Even if they have a bit of wear in them, but are still useable, someone might like them, a community organisation such as Freegle or  Freecycle is a possibility. You might also try taking them along to a Give And Take Day.

Poor Condition – If they are in poor condition but still have a little life, then it is possible someone may be able to make use of them (for example placing them on the floor of an van while transporting furniture – both to protect the furniture and make it easier to load and unload) so it may still be worth offering them on a community organisation such as Freegle if their condition is properly described.

No Life – If they are really completely past it, or poor condition and you cannot find a taker on Freegle or Freecycle or Gumtree or some such, then the dump is unfortunately the only answer.
